* apt manpage is built from xml nowadays like the restDavid Kalnischkies2015-08-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | It used be a handwritten manpage, but that is gone and this artifact is the cause for the message: ../../buildlib/manpage.mak:23: target '../../build/docs/apt.de.8' given more than once in the same rule [ … repeated for all translations … ] So lets get right of it. * add a vendor specific file to have configurable entitiesDavid Kalnischkies2013-11-301-2/+5
| | | | | | | manpages sometimes refer to distro-specific things like the name of the package providing the achive-keyring. Having a central place to configure this helps in having it consistent in the manpages and allows to load this info from other places in the buildsystem as well later.
* build the en manpages in subdirectory doc/enDavid Kalnischkies2013-06-091-5/+7
| | | | | Building manpages becames more consistent this way and it is simpler to ignore build artefacts, too.
* * debian/control:David Kalnischkies2012-06-291-1/+3
| | | | | | - demote debiandoc-sgml to Build-Depends-Indep * doc/makefile: - separate translation building of debiandoc from manpages so that we don't need to build debiandoc for binary packages
* move the creation of the manpage-style.xsl file to the rest of theDavid Kalnischkies2012-05-201-1/+5
| | | | | manpage building instead of doing it at setup time, so we can properly depend on it
* * doc/makefile:David Kalnischkies2012-05-171-1/+1
| | | | - build manpages with the correct l10n.gentext.default.language setting to get the correct section titles provided by docbook
* * doc/apt.ent:David Kalnischkies2010-10-141-2/+5
| | | | - move some strings into apt-verbatim.ent to avoid showing them in apt-doc.pot as they are untranslatable anyway (e.g. manpage references)
* * buildlib/debiandoc.mak, buildlib/po4a_manpage.mak:David Kalnischkies2010-09-171-1/+1
| | | - ensure that the build fails if documentation building fails
* * French manpage translation updateMichael Vogt2010-01-081-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * spot & fix various typos in all manpages * German manpage translation update * cmdline/apt-cache.cc: - remove translatable marker from the "%4i %s\n" string * buildlib/po4a_manpage.mak: - instruct debiandoc to build files with utf-8 encoding * buildlib/tools.m4: - fix some warning from the buildtools * apt-pkg/acquire-item.cc: - add configuration PDiffs::Limit-options to not download too many or too big patches (Closes: #554349) * debian/control: - let all packages depend on ${misc:Depends} * share/*-archive.gpg: - remove the horrible outdated files. We already depend on the keyring so we don't need to ship our own version * cmdline/apt-key: - errors out if wget is not installed (Closes: #545754) - add --keyring option as we have now possibly many * methods/gpgv.cc: - pass all keyrings (TrustedParts) to gpgv instead of using only one trusted.gpg keyring (Closes: #304846) * methods/https.cc: - finally merge the rest of the patchset from Arnaud Ebalard with the CRL and Issuers options, thanks! (Closes: #485963)
* fix/simplify buildsystem for the (now) po4a-only manpagesDavid Kalnischkies2009-11-021-1/+2

* add a message which will be displayed if xsltproc does respect the -oDavid Kalnischkies2009-10-161-0/+1
| | | | | flag again and a manual mv to the correct name is no longer needed. (used in the buildprocess of po4a manpages)
* add guide.sgml and offline.sgml to the "translatable with po4a"-groupDavid Kalnischkies2009-10-011-1/+6
| | | | | | | | Fix also the buildsystem for building the coresponding docs from these two files if they are exist for this language so we don't need to change the makefiles for ja and fr - and can also use the same simple makefiles for it and pl which ship these files as not-yet-with-po4a-translated (and currently no man page translation.)
* use only one xsl file (and therefore utf-8) for all languagesDavid Kalnischkies2009-09-091-1/+1

* * buildlib/po4a_manpage.mak, doc/makefile, configure:David Kalnischkies2009-08-271-0/+54
- simplify the makefiles needed for po4a manpages Add a bit more autodetection to the buildsystem to be able to add only half translated languages (only a few man pages, not all) and try to reduce the overhead needed to add new languages.
